Domesticated horse at pasture near Camas wildlife preserve. Shot was taken near sunset the dramatic lighting and halo around the horse is due to the sun being directly behind him.
I am amazed at how popular this image has become,
I would just like to say that the majority of my images are free to use for stock or art purposes provided you reference me as the original photographer. On rare occasions I permit for-profit purpose and I am always willing to donate my work for charity.
Please Please, if you are going to use this image, send me a note with your intentions and follow up with a link on this page back to the finished deviation.

Ohh and for what its worth this image was taken back in the days when I was first starting into digital photography with an old half broken tamron 70-300 lens..its not the sharpest because of that.

the plant centre middle is a little distracting, and slightly better presentation would make this image - simple borders and your handle on the bottom would make this look SO much more professional.....
